| AUDITONS FOR CHICAGO |
Please join The Capital City Players for our upcoming audition for the hot hit musical
"Chicago," which will be presented in evening performances June 17, 18, 19, 24, 25,
& 26 and in matinee performances June 20 & 27.
You will be auditioning for director Rob Crouse, rehearsal musical director
Kim Duggan, and choreographer Stephanie Bise.
Please prepare something to sing that shows off your range. If you choose to bring
music, an accompanist will be present to play for you or you can choose to sing a
capella.
Wear comfortable clothes for a dance audition and be prepared to do cold readings.
The following roles will be reprised by those who performed them in The Capital City
Players' show five years ago:
1. Branden Bise--Billy Flynn
2. David Baker--Amos
3. Charlie Dill--Miss Sunshine
Roles we will be auditioning for:
1. Roxie Hart--female lead
2. Velma--second female lead
3. Mama Morton--middle aged--strong belting voice and presence--runs cell block
3. Six young women who are triple threats--acting, singing, and dancing
4. Three young men who are triple threats--acting, singing, and dancing.
They will be joining Jerico Whitaker, Keegan Huckfeldt, and Steve Kretzer who have
already been cast in the show.
As in the original Broadway production, the six young women and six young men of the
ensemble will be playing all the other parts in the musical.
If you have questions or cannot make the audition time but would like to try to schedule
